Memories forged
Jake, a returning father and grandfather, has spent the last decade mending the fractures of the past. His once distant relationship with his daughter Alice has healed, and a new bond with his granddaughter Sadie has blossomed. But with Margo gone, the memories that held them together are now a double-edged sword. Will Jake's past mistakes resurface, threatening the relationships he’s worked so hard to rebuild?
Memories resisted
Alice, the ever-dedicated perfectionist, faces an empty nest as Sadie moves out—only not in the way she had planned. As Sadie chooses a different path, Alice struggles to let go of her expectations and how her own life should look now. The legacy of her mother, Margo, looms large, and the tension between honoring that legacy and accepting her daughter’s choices threatens to tear them apart.
Memories inherited
Sadie, now at a crossroads, must navigate life with only faded, distant memories of Granny. Inheriting Margo’s house, she’s caught between preserving her grandmother’s memory and carving out her own identity. The weight of the past hangs heavy as she searches for a balance, even as it strains her relationship with her mother.
Memories tested
In this poignant sequel, old wounds reopen, and new ones emerge as three generations grapple with love, loss, and the stains left behind by memory. Can they break the cycle of repeating past mistakes, or are some memories too deeply embedded to be erased? Without Margo to hold them together, can this family survive, or are some bonds destined to break?
All memories leave a stain

"Amazing second novel by Amelia. I had such a soft spot for Jake when I read the first that I was so excited that she wrote a sequel. I was lucky enough to be an advanced reader and I couldn’t wait for more chapters to arrive. The way she can intertwine different character point of views is incredible. Her character development is phenomenal. I’m sad the story is over but the journey from the first novel to the second tied up ends and created a fulsome heart filled story. I can’t wait to read more by this author."

"Amelia has written a beautiful and captivating story, skillfully weaving together perspectives of people from three different generations. She tackles the challenges of memories being lost & not knowing what to trust or how to make sense of one's own past, as well as how to navigate the present & future in such painful circumstances. There is much beauty, joy & hope in the midst of such heartbreak.
The characters are incredibly well rounded, lovable and natural to identify with. The element of mystery in this book makes it a hard one to put down and an exciting one to look forward to.
I highly recommend this treasure!"
